The MultiTroniks LVX-I offers the sophistication of a fully automated
surface mount placement system at an affordable price. Its flexibility makes the
LVX-I ideal for a variety of surface mount boards.
"On-The-Fly" touchless centering, an integral part of the placement head,
a laser alignment sensor centers the component as it is being moved to the
circuit board. The touchless technology provides nondestructive alignment and
positive feedback of component location after proper alignment is achieved.
Other important benefits of laser alignment are the detection of pickup errors
(tombstoning) and increased throughput.
